Information we collect

We collect information to provide reliable dumpster rental service, improve customer support and make the website work better. When you contact us, request a quote or schedule a dumpster rental, we may collect your name, email address and phone number, the project location or service address, the details of your dumpster rental needs and your preferred rental dates, information about your cleanup or construction project anywhere in Dothan and the surrounding Wiregrass communities, billing or payment-related information when applicable, and any other details you choose to give us. This helps us give accurate pricing, schedule deliveries efficiently and send important rental updates. When you visit the website, some technical information may be collected automatically — your IP address, browser type and version, the pages you visit and the time spent on the site, your device type and operating system, and referral sources and website activity data.

How we use it

To respond to quote requests and customer inquiries; to schedule and manage dumpster rentals and coordinate delivery and pickup; to provide updates about orders or rental schedules; to communicate service announcements or operational updates; to process payments when applicable; to improve website performance and the customer experience; and, only when you choose to opt in, to send promotions or special offers. We do not sell or rent your personal information to unrelated third parties for marketing purposes.

Sharing with service providers

We share information only when it is needed to provide our services: with payment processors for transactions, with communication and call-tracking tools, and with drivers for scheduling and logistics. Depending on the project, the schedule and the location, we may provide your rental directly or connect you with an independent local dumpster rental provider; when we do, we share the details that provider needs to respond to your request and handle the rental — your name, contact details, project location and rental details. The Terms and Conditions and the Disclaimer explain how those relationships work. We may also disclose information if the law requires it or to protect our legal rights, property or safety.

Cookies and tracking

The site may use cookies and similar technologies to remember visitor preferences, improve website functionality, analyze traffic and user behavior, measure advertising effectiveness and personalize content and marketing campaigns. This includes analytics tools such as Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager. Most browsers let you disable cookies in their settings, though some features of the website may not work properly without them.

Third-party services

We may use trusted third-party services and platforms to support the business, including payment processing providers, website analytics services such as Google Analytics, advertising and marketing platforms such as Google Ads and Meta/Facebook Ads, call tracking systems, a website chat tool and customer communication tools. These providers keep their own privacy policies and data handling practices, and we encourage you to review those policies to understand how information may be processed through their services.

Data security

We take reasonable measures to help protect your personal information from unauthorized access, misuse, disclosure or alteration, which may include secure server technology, SSL encryption, password-protected systems, restricted administrative access and security monitoring tools. No online system or electronic storage method is completely secure, so while we work to maintain strong security practices, we cannot guarantee absolute protection of transmitted information.

Your privacy rights

You may have the right to ask for access to your personal information, to correct or update inaccurate information, to ask us to delete your personal information, to opt out of marketing communications, and to ask how your information is used. Contact us at info@southernsteeldumpsters.com or (334) 686-0763 to make a request.
